Laser eye surgery is sometimes called LASIK surgery.  LASIK is a word made from the first letters of the following words: Laser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis.  This is a procedure used to improve a very many different peoples vision.  Because of this cutting edge technology their vision can improve substantially.  If they had at one time used eye glasses or contact lenses, this ground breaking operation can assist with them returning to having 20 / 20  vision once again.
